Bahrain expanding itself on intelligence services
Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the sixth son of Bahrain’s King Hamad bin Issa Al Khalifa promoted to lieutenant general of the Bahrain Defence Force on 30 April.
According to the recent intel, The sheikh, already national security adviser, commander of the Royal Guard and secretary-general of the Supreme Defence Council, is behind an initiative to create a mission-critical communications network for Bahrain’s defence apparatus.
The Royal Guard, the elite unit independent of the rest of the armed forces leaded by Nasser bin Hama, who are looking to develop a mission-critical communications core of networks for the kingdom’s defence structures. Mission-critical antennas and devices would be the next step.
On 28 April, Nasser has moreover received assistance from former Austrian chancellor Sebastian Kurz, who co-founded the Israeli cyber-security firm Dream Security last October with Shalev Hulio, the former CEO of NSO Group, and Gil Dolev, the ex-CEO of NSO subsidiary Wayout Group.
Bahrain is on the verge of expanding its sphere in cyber intelligence sphere. Indian cyber Security Company Terra Eagle cofounded by Aditya Panikyavelpel Sashi are having close connection with Bahrain’s prince which proved this point.
Indian based Terra Eagle is a veteran-owned cybersecurity company focused on providing top of the line penetration testing, security training, compliance services, phishing and digital marketing services.
