India cybersecurity firm Terra Eagle making its base in Bahrain

A new company has made its appearance in the ecosystem of Bahrain’s princes. Indian cybersecurity company Terra Eagle is carving out a path for itself with its connections with Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, commander of the Royal Guard’s Rapid Intervention Force and son of King Hamad bin Issa Al Khalifa.

India based Terra Eagle is a veteran-owned cybersecurity company focused on providing top of the line penetration testing, security training, compliance services, phishing and digital marketing services.

The company, which was registered on 31 August 2022 in Bangalore, offers a wide range of cyber services, from cyber threat intelligence to cyber ranges. It also has a subsidiary, Identcheck, which specialises in application programming interfaces (API) for facial recognition software. On its website, it’s about us page presents itself as a “veteran-owned” Texan company, even though no such company figures on the US state business register.

Terra Eagle

TerraEagle is run by close associates of Sheikh Khalid who share the same passion for sports. The firm’s founder, Indian national Aditya Panikyavelpel Sashi claims to have been an adviser to the prince and his company, KHK Holding, since 2018.

Since 2015 this holding company has overseen all the prince’s business activities is advised by another close associate, Mohammed Shahid, has, since it was set up, relied on the services of Richard Fabre, a French special forces veteran Sashi is also chairman of the All India MMA (Mixed Martial Arts) Federation, with which the prince’s Brave Combat Federation sponsors various sports events.

Through TerraEagle, Sashi is returning to cybersecurity after having worked in India as a manager for US IT groups IBM and Agilent Technologies. He also founded property and interior decoration companies in India with other MMA aficionados.

Above lines states that Indian firms are getting much recognition from foreign countries. These firms are making sure that India continues to advance in the cyber offensive front.
