Over the past decade, the progression of technology and advancement in cyberspace has consequently reshaped the Middle East. If we talk about the cyber aptitude of the sovereign states in the Middle East, the region has become hyperactive in advancing both cyber offensive and defensive capabilities.

Apart from emerging themselves in diverse fields, the nations have acquired much appreciation for cyber technology and its associations both inside and outside the borders. To expand business opportunities, the cyber players of foreign countries are observed to be equating with Middle Eastern nations for countering the increasing number of cyber threats.

YesWeHack a cybersecurity firm, expanding in Middle East nations

The recent turn of events displayed that The French Bug Bounty startup YesWeHack is expanding its services in the Middle East. On 7th February, an announcement has been occurred by the startup that it had teamed up with its first partner in the Middle East ‘the Emirati Cyber solutions reseller AmiViz’. This was its most recent venture onto the intercontinental stage, as YesWeHack has a base in around 30 countries universally.

YesWeHack is a Global Bug Bounty & VDP Platform, founded in 2015 by Romain Lecoeuvre and Guillaume Vassault-Houliere. The firm provides enterprises, a pioneering approach to cybersecurity with Bug Bounty (pay-per-vulnerability discovered), concerning more than 35,000 cybersecurity ethical Hackers among 170 countries with corporations.

According to the report of IO, after associating with UAE, the startup is now prospecting for more potential partners in the Middle Eastern arena like Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Turkey, and Oman.

In 2021, Israeli cyber security firm XM cyber (founded by Mossad chief Tamir Pardo) entered the Persian Gulf for the first time by signing a cooperative agreement with Dubai-based Spire Solutions (headed by Sanjiv Walia). The conglomerate’s aimed to promote cooperation deals between Israeli companies and UAE administrative companies to evade individual negotiations.

Also, in August 2021, US-based ColorTokens (a leading innovator in Zero Trust-based cyber security solutions) had partnered with Finesse (Emirati-based IT system integrator) to empower Middle East businesses with a fresh approach to coping with the escalating number of cyber threats.

Similarly, Paladion Network (an Indian conglomerate) provides security for the banks of Middle Eastern countries. In 2016, Paladion Networks displayed a lively cyber security model in a seminar held in Doha to secure against the modern APT. The information security company uses exclusive technology to safeguard the interests of its Middle Eastern clients.

In the last, we can say that Cybersecurity firms from all over the globe trying their luck by providing cyber assistance to Middle Eastern nations. Right now they are providing cyber security services to the nations of the Middle East, but in the future may be foreign firms will also be providing cyber offensive services to the Middle Eastern nations.
